I sewed the back pockets onto the front. I am so upset with myself. I am NOT stitch ripping them out. I have a plan. If it works, you will hear about these pants again. If it fails, I will throw these in the back of the bottom basement and they will be discovered there after my depArture from this life.
I am in love with this quilt. I will never give it away or sell it. Finally got the black zinger border done. Can’t wait to move on to the next fabric in this quilt. I’m going to sleep with it in my arms
tonight, even though it’s not done. I can’t keep my hands off of it! So many different fabrics, so many textures! The black solid fabric is linen, and I’m telling you, if you ever get the chance to quilt with linen, it’s wonderful to work with for quilting. I’m planning on using more of this black linen fabric in my first ever paper piercing quilting project.
Weird the things we hang on to. I’ve had these two strips, of quilting cotton, for years. I was sure I would someday use them somewhere as a nice border. I wonder why I didn’t just throw them out, such small pieces. Then one day I could not find an elastic for my pony tail. This hAppens almost every day. So I made 2 scrunchies!
Kids hockey season is nearly over. I have been sewing….I think? But I have no idea what? I think odds and sods. I made myself an awesome pair of fleece pants in January!
I absolutly love them. I adore the way they fit. The only issue I have with them is that they are a bit too short. And that the leg is a bit too wide at the ankle. So I will make them again, and again in a fleece, but I plan to lengthen and narrow the leg.
