Teaching this Ol Dog New Tricks

I know that thread gets old. I know that when it gets old, and I try to use it on my machine, it breaks, and breaks, and breaks, and I throw it out. What I DIDN’T know, was that thread DRIES OUT. Old thread is dry, and brittle. Like old wood. This is fascinating to me. And of course, completely logical.

To refresh old dry thread put your thread in the freezer. In fact, if you have a lot of thread you don’t use often, keep it in the freezer, to keep it fresh.

I say all of this with a deadpan face. Even though I think it’s hilarious.

Here is something that makes me laugh to myself, like Sheldon from the Big Bang Show…

Fresh Thread. Snicker.
